The Village has an active community with the parish church and Methodist chapel together with a wide range of parish groups such as:

W .I., British Legion,
St. Osyth in Bloom,
Historical society,
Horticultural society,
Beavers, cubs and Scouts,
Disabled persons club, and an approachable Parish council.
For the more athletic there are youth and adult football clubs, Cricket, Badminton and a Hard court.
Also the more leisurely indoor Bowls clubs, Snooker room to the village hall and darts teams etc.
There is also the St. Osyth Cof E ( GM) Primary School,
Two Doctors surgeries, two Playgroups, two Post offices and a wide range of businesses with and active Business Association.

We are situated in the historic village of St. Osyth about four miles to the west of Clacton-on-Sea, just off the B1027.

St. Osyth is a popular village which has the ancient Priory and Deer Park, There is an active boat yard and also Ski-ing lake, the village also has the holiday influx to the four caravan parks at St. Osyth Beach and Point Clear Bay.
